I do not see any general issues with vBulletin 4.X in Firefox. It is probably the most commonly used browser amongst all the developers and testers of the software.

What are the specific problems you are having?

I was able to load your site just fine using both Firefox 3.6.6 and the Firefox 4 Beta. I don't see any issues with the custom style that you are using. At least not on the surface.

Error firefox: A script on this page may be busy, or may no longer respond. You can stop the script, or continue to see if the script ends.

I'm seeing the same thing, using Firefox 3.6.6. My site will load about half-way, then the status bar shows "transferring data from..." and it takes about 16 seconds to load the home page. Using IE the page comes up right away.

Is anybody else seeing something like this?

FWIW, my site is http://www.lidragracing.com. Give it a try with both IE and Firefox and see if you have the same results.

I tried both sites in Firefox 3.6.6 and IE 8.0.

Both sites worked well for me in both browsers. Sorry I can't be of more help.

@mikelbeck i am viewing the same thing as you are using FF 3.6.3. Both sites almost load then hang for several seconds before loading.
However i am running latest release and am not experiencing this on my forum.
I did notice the first time i loaded your site the google adds seemed to take ages then the forum loaded really quick after that.
Try disabling that perhaps for testing purposes?

I had the same thought, but I've tried disabling the ads and it does the same thing. I also tried going back to the default theme, but it didn't make a difference.

BTW this has only started happening since I upgrade to 4.0.5 from 4.0.3.

Looks fine in here, you have a very good blue page design with yosemite on the left

i have this kind of experience before when my customers could not reach my site due to firewall on my VPS.

Just try to check it, perhaps my suggestion would be useful for you.

                      Regards,

What was the issue with the firewall?

You might try installing Firebug and seeing if you can detect what's not loading.

When I load your page it's external sites that are hanging.
