[CMS] Changes to articles does not show up unless you clear cms cache

Is this another bug or what? If I edit an article and saves it it does not show the updated article. I have to clear the cms cache every time to see the updated article. Is this really normal?

Have you tried just clearing your browser cache? I don't see this problem, so I don't think it's a bug.

Not tried to clear cache in browser. I think the changes would show up directly after the saving. So everyone who edit an article must have to clear the browser cache each time to see the updated article?

No, that was just a suggestion to try. Mine update without hesitation. Just thought it might be a browser issue for you.

Its the same problem when a user comment an article. To see the comment its necessary to clear the cms cache.

I had a ticket in way back in beta days for the same problem....
Looks like the "fix" was dropped with 4.04 because it was working for the past two versions.

While I appreciated the time managment took to fix this issue, it took a long time before anyone responded with real effort.

              Anyways...

Can't find my old ticket in the new system...

              Edit...

              Found them:

How can it be a "Bug" when I don't have it too? Just tried it in FF, IE8 and Chrome, I can't reproduce it.

I have same problem, I just upgraded to VB4. I created a test article in CMS, users comment and it says e.g. 4 comments on the main page. When you enter the article there is only 1 comment, my own. If I clear CMS cache it shows up tho.

I can reproduce it. I have to keep clearing the cache or the same things keep showing up even though there have been changes and new content. PITA!

same here. also getting a wierd 'html clipboard' text being added to the front (on cms page, not full article page).
