[Forum] Building Search Index Null Type ?

After installing VB 4.0.3, patch level 1, it started rebuilding the search index. It's been running for 18 hours now - during which time the board has been unavailable. After reaching 823,000 count it "rolled over" and started from zero again. It's now up to:

Building Search Index Null Type 56000 :: 250

Is this normal? Or is it in an endless loop?

No it's not normal, I am having this ditto same issue (vb 4.0.3 PL1)! I just recently moved my forum to a new server and after the moving when I tried to re-build my search index (because during the moving process my search engine table got corrupted) and now after the running the index rebuild option for like 10hrs it started the re-indexing again from 0 <_<

same issue here with 4.0.5...

after reaching 1,300,000+ started all over again... this is more than 24 hours reindex, during which the board was very very slow... is this a bug?

Edit: after about 2 more hours, it finished... finally.
