[Forum] Forum gone mad ! :(

Hello, I have a problem...
today I logged in to my forum and I noticed a strange counter of topics/posts at the bottom of index page:

it says:
Threads: 16,777,200
Messages: 4,294,967,300

What went wrong and how can I solve this? the forum is brand new and i'm just creating sections... there are only 4 or 5 posts... test posts.

I had this when my forum was new. Had to run "update counters" > update post count in maintenance two different times. Been fine since.
