    [CMS] CMS permissions not working?

    Hi,

I want to make the CMS viewable for everyone. At the moment, it is coming up with a log in screen for unregistered users.

I have set the permissions so that everyone (except banned users) can view the CMS, but it's still locking them out.

    Here's a screenshot, am I doing something wrong? I'm on 4.0.3.

    Thanks.

    Just to update, I have

    Double checked the permissions.
Turned off "show section on widget".
    Cleared CMS cache.

What I have found is that if I set the home page to "published" and then save, it doesn't publish it. I have to say, this is a really un-user friendly CMS

I've had to turn off CMS again (1) for this reason and (2) for another error I'm getting.

When I last had it enabled, in spite of the fact that I gave permission for all usergroups to view it, the only ones who could view it were admins (who also had permission to post and edit articles).

I see you have VBSEO too, I wonder if that is something to do with it? I think I'll check over there to see if there's anything about it.

Oh, good thinking. I haven't looked there.

I've listed the interesting ways I know of to hide content that you actually want visible here:

The most common is either turning off subsection content or the "show in section widget" setting. If you read this, the content is published, you've set permissions, and users can't see the articles, then please create a support ticket.
Please- I'm not tech support. Don't send your problem reports to me unless I've asked you to.
