Looks to me like he typed, "people". Either way, they can be tough to get rid of.

not at all, go install advanced registration mod it simply makes people answer a question before they can register it will stop 99% of that bot stuff, also make them reply to an email before they can post went from like , i went from like 20 spambots a day to 0

Why not just got to User Profile Fields in the ACP and set a required question at registration that uses a regular expression to match an answer? I would try using built in features before installing someone elses hack.

Yes, this was posted on another thread but it was at teh bottom of another thread and I was uncertain it would be answered. Users do have to answer an e mail. These do appear to be people posting. So I suppose that this will mean answering a question will not help. I'm open for any other suggestion. Why must people waste my time?

Well now, that was rather non-sequitur to your previous statement on registration email implementation to stop spam. Do you currently have a registration question? Are you using captcha or recaptcha? Like your posts, your concerns and attempts to get answers are all over the place. What are you doing to stop the spam currently? No use in wasting other people's time in asking them to make suggestions to you that you may already be trying.
