[Forum] How may I change the default timer for new posts?

Hello and thank you for trying to help me. I was wondering, is it possible to change the default timer for new posts? Sometimes posts still show up as new to the boards after I have already read them, and then after a set amount of time (I don't know how long), if I click on New Posts, it says "There are no new posts". Thank you.
    Regards,
    Lou

It has to do with what type of Forum Read Markup you have set in vboptions > general settings > Thread/Forum Read Marking Type And then if you use inactivity/cookie based, it also depends on vboptions > cookie > session timeout

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.
