    [Forum] new posts not updateing

I've searched and read what I could on this but have found no helpful answers.

New posts take forever to update in the NEW POSTS, WHAT'S NEW

If you post or reply to a post that post doesn't show up on either list.

Queue updates is set to NO
seems to make no dif when set to yes

Database (automatic forum marking) is the setting

I've tried changing this it seems to make no dif.

Rebuilt the search index several times did not help

turned plug in off made no difference

anyone found a solution for this

seems like when you post it should show up on NEW POST and or WHATS NEW list.
the forum new posts side block updates faster than either the NEW POSTS or WHAT'S NEW

If *you* post and then click on What's New, I think the only time that post will show up is if you have Forum Read Markup set to inactivity/cookie based.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

you post and the post does not appear on the whats new or new post list

Sorry to disagree with you here -- as far as vBulletin.com is concerned, each time I click what's new -- I see your post each time. I've been in and out of a number of threads and they update on my screen each time someone replies.

BTW: If you post in this thread and then click "What's New" -- this thread won't show up because you were just there. You should see this post now, because I or someone else is posting in it.
