I've disabled letting users leave a message in their own profile, but whenever someone visits a profile it goes straight to "about me" I want the default page to always be profile comments, and not "about me" how can I do this? or do I have to keep the setting to allow people to post in their own profiles in order to have this?

You're being silly
You've changed the setting so that users cannot comment on themselves, I bet you're clicking your profile to test if it's working. Try clicking on another username besides your own and it defaults on Visitor messages.
VB is doing exactly as you would expect it to if you'd disabled a feature for a specific usergroup basically. -
So basically you're being iVain in that you like checking yourself out online?Comment

How am I being jerk you weirdo, I explained what was going on, you even agreed with me????
If I offered you a potato would it make you happy again, I've got some good ones here, I'll even let you choose.
Anyway..... VB doesn't do what you want at the moment so if you're looking for that functionality you'll have to go to vbulletin.org.
