By these you are not referring to the weak password hash issue then for which a patch was also released earlier this week. There should be a way for an administrator to determine the history or changelog of vBulletin, as it is regularly done with other software.

The PL3 file available for download is the exact same as the PL2 one? Same files, same size as far as I can see.

We went from PL2 to PL3 and now all of our attachments on the front page are show the code next to them. This is ridiculous!

If you follow the instructions, you shouldn't have an issue. I've applied all the patches and my site is just fine.

I have the full suite, I downloaded the Patch which is supposed to bt PL3 but when I applied it my admin says I'm PL2. Do I have to download the entire package to get PL3? It's not very clear is it.

Yes, that is what I asked above. The file looks to be identical with the PL2 one, as if they uploaded / linked to the wrong file.

And now there is a PL4 which when I tried to download was exactly the same again. :/

Is it the same? Did you compare each file line by line to see if they're the same? No, I didn't think so.

Yes, the zip file is the same name, but when you upload the files, the version does change to PL4.
