I've been looking around and can't figure this out. I edited the header template where I thought it showed forums.php to index.php but that didn't change anything. I want to link to the root of my site index.php instead of forums.php on thedroidblog.com.
Change Link On Logo?

In the header change the href forumhome to bbhome instead of index.php like this
Code:<a name="top" href="{vb:raw vboptions.forumhome}..........etc.
Code:<a name="top" href="{vb:raw vboptions.bbhome}.........etc.

I don't see that in the header. I see this?
Code:<div><a name="top" href="forums.php{vb:raw session.sessionurl_q}" class="logo-image"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:rawphrase x_powered_by_vbulletin, {vb:raw vboptions.bbtitle}}" /></a></div>

Hmmm. Not sure why its not the same. I am referring to the "header" template in a VB4 Suite V4.0.2 install. Here is the complete beginning code without and with the change I showed.
Default header code
Code:<div class="above_body"> <!-- closing tag is in template navbar --> <div id="header" class="floatcontainer doc_header"> {vb:raw ad_location.ad_header_logo} <div><a name="top" href="{vb:raw vboptions.forumhome}.php{vb:raw session.sessionurl_q}" class="logo-image"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:rawphrase x_powered_by_vbulletin, {vb:raw vboptions.bbtitle}}" /></a></div> <div id="toplinks" class="toplinks"> <vb:if condition="$show['member']"> <ul class="isuser"> <li><a href="login.php?{vb:raw session.sessionurl}do=logout&logouthash={vb:raw bbuserinfo.logouthash}" onclick="return log_out('{vb:rawphrase sure_you_want_to_log_out}')">{vb:rawphrase log_out}</a></li> <vb:if condition="$show['registerbutton']"> and on and on....
Code:<div class="above_body"> <!-- closing tag is in template navbar --> <div id="header" class="floatcontainer doc_header"> {vb:raw ad_location.ad_header_logo} <div><a name="top" href="{vb:raw vboptions.bbhome}{vb:raw session.sessionurl_q}" class="logo-image"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:rawphrase x_powered_by_vbulletin, {vb:raw vboptions.bbtitle}}" /></a></div> <div id="toplinks" class="toplinks"> <vb:if condition="$show['member']"> <ul class="isuser"> <li><a href="login.php?{vb:raw session.sessionurl}do=logout&logouthash={vb:raw bbuserinfo.logouthash}" onclick="return log_out('{vb:rawphrase sure_you_want_to_log_out}')">{vb:rawphrase log_out}</a></li> <vb:if condition="$show['registerbutton']"> and on and on...

So I just removed this part:
<a name="top" href="{vb:raw vboptions.forumhome}.php{vb:raw session.sessionurl_q}" class="logo-image">
And replaced it by this one:
<a name="top" href="http://www.xxxx.com" class="logo-image">
Now it works alright but please tell me if I did anything wrong.
THANK YOU!

That looks like it might log people out when they click the logo. Isn't 'session' something to do with being logged in?
I don't understand why the vbulletin suite lands on the forum page by default. I hope the developers read these posts because this needs to be changed, preferably with a button. CMS is the obvious landing page.Comment

It has to be that way as default because the forum is the "mother" of everything, you can turn the CMS off in products, it's just an addon.Last edited by nakedanvil; Thu 3 Mar '11, 8:52pm.Comment
