[Forum] How to show sub-forums in forum home?

I'm lost as to how to make this work, is this a custom thing? I've tried playing around with all the settings in the control panel, but nothing seems to make them show up.

I want to make my sub-forums show up like this example.

Name:	subforums..png
Views:	1
Size:	13.1 KB
ID:	3715254

But no matter what I do, they don't show up and you have to click on the containing forum to see them. What am I doing wrong?

    Thx.

vboptions > forum listings display options > depth of sub-forums > do not set to 0

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

yeah, that's exactly what I tried last night. I set it to 3, 4, and even 5, though I only have forums to a depth of 3. Doesn't work.

So I'm guessing this is a bug in 4.0.2... or might it be caused by the style I'm using?

It works just fine on my test site. You should always check things under default conditions (default style, no modifications, default files) to make sure it isn't something specific to your site.

          Got it to work.

I had to set Depth of Forums - Forum Home, Depth of Forums - Forum Display and Depth of Sub-Forums to 2 for them to show. Anything else and they won't show up.

Sorry for replying in such an old thread. How can I increase the size of the letters, in sub-forums? http://prntscr.com/69r8kr They are too small!

Why in the heck does nothing work but a setting of "2" in all blocks? Why have an option that doesn't work as it says it does, Ugh

No changes will be made to vBulletin 4 now. It is no longer in development as it is not the current product. Only vBulletin 5 is being developed.
