[Forum] Upgrade to VB4, but install the forum in a subdirectory

Well, regrading VB4 I decided that I want a homepage instead of having the forum as my homepage, and to move all VB4 content to a sub-directory (from /root/ to /root/forums).

Basically, is it just uploading the VB4 files to a sub-directory and then upgrade? (of course, I will backup my database before doing that).

    Waitiing for an answer,
    Adam.

yep, it's as simple as you say basically. Backup and disable all plugins and products, upgrade, done.

Just disable them. Some of your products will work (smaller ones), whereas the larger ones probably wont.
