I seriously do not know when this started because I rarely use these, but tonight when I upgraded and was messing around with things, I decided to click the "B" image and nothing clicked. The same goes for everything else except for the font, size, color, and smiley drop down menu's. I checked the templates for these and they have not been edited. I re-uploaded all of the files and the same result.

Create a new style with no parent:
- Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
- Parent Style: No Parent Style
- Title: Default vBulletin
- Allow User Selection: Yes
- Save
Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

OK, try reuploading all your files - sometimes this happens because a needed file, like a .js file, is missing.
If it is still happening - Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php
PHP Code:define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Hello lynne -
I assume this is when you use inline attachment and you see the pencil icon so you can edit the image ... after I attach a image and go to edit i see the
So I disabled all my plug in's as you suggested .. so when you say upload all the files again you mean the 4.02 files and not run the script to upgrade ?Last edited by Sfitzgerald; Thu 18 Feb '10, 2:14pm.Comment

Not the upgrade stuff (not the stuff in /install), just the other files.

If you've got all default files, a default style, and no plugins on, then I really don't know what the problem is. You may want to put in a support ticket.

Are you using the WYSIWYG editor? If you aren't, you won't see the image itself, you will only see the code. From your first post, I thought your problem was with the actual editor, but now it sounds like you turned off the WYSIWYG.
