I've run a couple of test configurations using StyleVars and each time after a bit of work on the fonts, navbar and header, text at this point forward cannot be entered into the search field. I've tested some of the padding issues but that doesn't seem to help. I have no idea what might be causing this as changes to the search elements and/or restoring them to their original values does not correct the situation. Of course the install right out of the box worked fine so apparently some change I'm making (using VB4's Skinning the Forum handout) is causing this. Anyone else experienced this problem? Solutions?

What stylevars in particular are you changing and I'll try to reproduce this -
Anything that has to do with the customization of the navbar area. I've attached the exported style here with a .txt extention. Would that better assist you? I've made a lot of changes so actually identifying every single one isn't something I can nail down.
Update: this is no longer a concern.Attached FilesLast edited by sticheno; Tue 23 Feb '10, 9:53am.Comment

by Wizard CatI swear I've seen this working on other vbforums. I'm trying to make it so you can search custom user profile fields. I understand that custom text fields may have issues as being searchable, but not...
