[Forum] Hiding widgets

I am hoping this is an easy one and I am missing the obvious as usual, but how do you do that tab thingy to hide and un hide the widget side bars like there is here on the forum main page on the right? Wish I knew the right name for it. i have seen it used a lot but do not see a control to turn it on and off or is it an add on? Thanks for any help
