Is it just that one member's avatar?
s.molinari - I would like to ask all customers to definitely feedback issues with the software and be specific with the issues, but to basically suck-up what happened in the past and try to just look forward.

Have this problem as well, seems it is scaling the avatar to double its size

        60px × 45px (scaled to 120px × 90px) in picture properties

yes, I've noticed they are blurry in visitor profile messages too. Looks aweful. It looks like the thumbs are scaled down to 60width x whatever height, then blown up to a larger size for the comment lists. Why is there always so many finicky problems like this with latest upgrades? There always seems to be something new that wasn't a problem in the previous version.

They are also blurry in comments to albums. Anyone know how to fix this yet, to make the original avatar thumbnails being pulled into these comment sections larger than 60px wide?

                  Image Dimensions: 53px × 80px (scaled to 100px × 151px)
                  Image Dimensions: 80px × 80px (scaled to 100px × 100px)

why? what is causing it to scale?

how do you change the default thumb size to something bigger so it doesn't stretch when viewed, thus blurred?

There's a suggestion in this bug report which you can try:

                          Vote for:

                          - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
                          - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

                            Trevor,

I tried that it didn't really help the blurriness. I used 80px instead of the suggested 90px.

I know what is causing the problem... I've set stylevar "avatar_height" too 100px (because I wanted bigger avatars for people).

The default avatar height was 60x60. So what it is doing is scaling it to 100px. I would rather it be setup to show what the size is of the actual avatar instead of scaling it. So the people that uploaded the 60x60, it shows the proper size (not scaled) and the people who do 100x100 shows the proper size as well.

Where are the vB staff that used to solve these questions with one post and put the problem to bed? I've been patient but the lack of response to the house burning down is starting to piss me off.
