Terrific! Just when I thought things were looking up.
/subscribed even though it's pointless.
I was hoping once I created a new widget that I could configure it using phpmyadmin, but it doesn't look like it.Last edited by steven s; Mon 24 Jan '11, 5:05pm....steven

Nothing?
Are the few of us the only ones with this problem?
I have set Friendly URLs every which way.
I don't recall the last time I configured a widget, but I am using 4.1.1 now....steven

Having similar issue. I think it has something to do with 4.1.x allowing you to make CMS the default (or root) instead of the Forums. I'm thinking its a redirect that isn't correctly...redirecting.
EDIT - I've been using Chrome in addition to IE 8 and 9beta, as well as FireFox and had similar issues.
Just noticed, IE 9 is loading the pop-up but FireFox nor Chrome are. Cleared cache, tried on different PC's - oddly enough, IE8 even on a clean install seems to bork on this.Last edited by nforcer; Mon 7 Feb '11, 12:17am.Comment

What version of vB4 are you running? Are you using the vBulletin method of splitting the CMS/Blogs and forum up or the tutorial provided here:

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/conte...n-subdirectory
AdminCP
forum url: http://forum.nccbmwcca.org
Optional URL for your CMS. http://www.nccbmwcca.org (which shouldn't matter)
I do believe I have edited files in my root directory as outlined in the above instructions but I am in my subdomain....steven

Actually, subdomains are not offically supported. Javascript/ajax doesn't work cross domainsComment

Follow up
My forum and core files are located in forum.nccbmwcca.org.
CMS is made to appear www.nccbmwcca.org
CMS Component URL --> Optional URL for your CMS is normally www.nccbmwcca.org so when you click on the Home tab you are directed to the CMS page.
I changed this to forum.nccbmwcca.org and can now configure widgets.
The down side is that the Home tab now directs the user to the forum.
I'll edit this setting when I need to configure a widget and revert it back when I'm done.
Hope this helps someone....steven
