[Forum] RSS Robot not working?

All of a sudden (Jan 6) my RSS robot stopped posting feeds. It will only post if I go in an reset each feed. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

Anyone else experiencing this? It's pissing me off to no end. I have to run a SQL query every damn day to make this thing work.

Is the scheduled task running at all? Is this affecting all feeds or just selected ones?

All scheduled tasks are effected, they're not running. I've only got one feed, so I can't say if it effects more than one, but it's effecting other scheduled tasks.

Is {vb:raw cronimage} in the footer template for the style you're using? Are there any errors in your error logs relating to these tasks?

Try editing each task and re-saving it (even simply moving the time on 5 minutes) - do they start up again?

I tried re-saving all the tasks, it made no difference. I'll check the templates and write back if the problem persists.

The cron image is in my footer. All my cron jobs seem to run fine, including the RSS job, it just doesn't post anything. I have to go into the database and run this query, then manually run the task in order for it to pull in any feeds.

I'm glad Im not the only one,
I have 20 feeds and they work when they want.
I cannot work out why they go and stop, they spend more time not working.

It's annoying as hell. Everyday I have to manually run the RSS feeds.

I have other VB versions with no problems , same server every thing.
But since update I cannot get this rss to work for the life of me.
I now have to re- add the feed as manually running it often does not work.

In my case this is affecting only on new rss feeds (rss feeds that had been working before upgrade still work in 4.0.3)

I am having the same issue. I too found that the only way to get them to run is to delete them, and set them up completely. Wish there was a solution.
