    [Forum] 2 Licenses/2 Forums/1 Problem

    I run a forum which gets about 60 visits a day which is running vbulletin 4 patch level 1 - 106OC
    I run a forum which gets about 2000 visits a day which is running vbulletin 3.8.4 patch level 1 - eTeknix

    I want to swap my licenses around and put vbulletin 4 patch level 1 onto eTeknix and to downgrade 106OC to 3.8.4 patch level 1.

    I know how to upgrade eTeknix but is it possible to downgrade back on 106OC???

    If so, how?

    Many thanks,

    Andy

    Go to member.vbulletin.com and change the URL of each license.
    while(true){
    if(
    $someone->needsHelp() && $i->canHelp()) $post->help();
    if(
    $i->findBug()) $post->bug();
    }

        For vB 3.8.4, just upload vB 4.0 and upgrade.
        But vB 3.8.4 files won't work with vB 4.0 database, if you have an early backup that worked with 3.8.4 then restore and use 3.8.4.

          It was a fresh install of vb4 so there is no backup of 3.8.4 as it never had it.

            It's not possible to do a downgrade due to the database changes involved. The only way that you could do it would be to go through the upgrade files and look at what changes are made between 3.8 and 4.0 then manually change all your tables to reflect how they would be before an upgrade.

            Even with that, there's no guarantee that your site will work correctly.
