    [Forum] Change Position Of Avatars?

    1. How do you make it so the Avatar is under the user name and ranking? Right now, it's to the left of the user name and I want it to be under the user name.

    2. My users do not have the option to add an avatar in their profile section. I can not find where I've gone wrong. I have all boxes checked stating that users are allowed to have a custom avatar.

    Thank you

    Do you have a screenshot of the avatar position? It's supposed to be where you're saying you want it.
    s.molinari - I would like to ask all customers to definitely feedback issues with the software and be specific with the issues, but to basically suck-up what happened in the past and try to just look forward.

      I just bought a Mac and don't know how to do a screen shot.

      But the way the avatar is positioned on vbulletin.com forum would be fine.

        cmd+shift+3 -> Full screen shot
        cmd+shift+4 -> Coordinated screen shot

            Code:
            /* center avatar in postbit legacy */
            .postbitlegacy .userinfo .postuseravatar {text-align:center; }

            If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

                I put it in my addition css file (I use a mod for it - it will be standard in 4.0.1) or you can do a search in templates for that class and add it to the end of that css template.

                      I already did that here:

                      If you do the Search in Templates for ".postbitlegacy .userinfo .postuseravatar" (admin cp > styles & templates > search in templates), the template postbit.css will show up. Click on it and put what I posted at the very bottom of it. Save.

                        Thank you very much.

                        I understood finally.

                        I have attached what I have done so you can see if I did it properly.

                        It still does not center the avatar.

                          Am I right in thinking you're running 3.x version of vB rather than vb4?

                            Do you have a link to a showthread page on your site with avatars? It looks like you have changed it a little bit and perhaps the css would be different for your style than a default style.

                            Trevor, it just looks like she's changed the postbit quite a bit to look like the old vB3 style.

                              It's all VB 4.0 default. I've done nothing to alter it.
