Is it possible to put the forum tag cloud on the cms homepage as a widget? Just like in the forum sidebar.

There is no standard cloud widget in the cms. What you can do is adding a PHP widget that extract the tags from your database.while(true){
if($someone->needsHelp() && $i->canHelp()) $post->help();
if($i->findBug()) $post->bug();
}
