I seem to be having a problem getting the sidebar to work the way I think it ought to. I activated the forum block for the latest blog entries, which is set to display the latest 5 entries by default. Only there is only 1 showing, even though there are numerous entries less than 24 hrs old.
After doing some testing, it looks like the number of comments is being counted by the query, though these are not displayed in the sidebar. The reason only one blog post is showing is because the first post has 4 comments. If 5 new blog entries are created which have no comments, then all 5 show in the sidebar.
The number of comments each entry has shouldn't effect the number of entries displayed in the sidebar, but it does. And I don't see any setting to correct this, which makes it impossible to know how many entries will be displayed in the sidebar because there is no way to predict how many comments a given post will have.
