Ok I thought the previous poster was making a joke, but are you guys serious? I don't see a "Publish Now" button, mine looks like the screenshot above.
"Publish Yes / No" is dependent on the calendar, so that's not what we're talking about I believe.Comment

After having published several articles and edited some of them with no problem, I suddenly got the "This page will be published on..." message as well. I *have*selected "published, and pressed Save.
There's no Publish Now button here. Why isn't selecting "Published" enough - all of a sudden?Comment

The owner of the board (the initial user id when the board is installed) is the one and only super admin by default. Others can be added in the super administrator section of the config.php file. Super admin has complete and total access to every function of the board. He set's permissions for other users, all the way down from administrator to guest, and by applying certain permissions, in turn may give other users permissions to set permissions for people lower down on the tree. If there is a function missing on the site, and your user id # is listed as a super administrator in the config.php, then you have a serious malfunction in the software installation.
Default line about half way down config.php:
$config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '1';
Add other users numbers in a comma delimited list within the single quotes, but as the owner of the board, use it with care as anybody you add has all the power you have as far as changing settings within the admin cp.Anybody who says "it can't be done" will usually be interrupted by somebody who is already doing it.Comment
