    [CMS] Article preview text length

what controls the amount of text that is shown in preview.
    example

Name:	articlepreviewlength.JPG
Views:	1
Size:	37.2 KB
ID:	3714035

in the above image the article on teh right only shows 2 lines while the article on the right shows MANY more
both contain multiple paragraphs of text, so why is the one shorter
is the setting per section or category? (they are in different categories of the same section)

The number of characters are hard coded. You can control the length by using the preview break bar.
You may have one article set to display the entire article.

Edit: Looking at the image. You probable have the preview break bar set differently for each article.

I use the preview break in all my articles, but I only get the first 115 characters in the preview section. So I have the exact same problem. The articles that was in the program when I first installed it show more characters in the preview, so there has to be some sort of option for this. I am guessing that it has something to do with the Preview breaker.

This is it. Not worth using because it doesn't work consistently, if ever.

Thanks, that actually works for me... not sure why the automated break isnt more consistent, but so far so good with the break bar... doesnt seem like its working for other people though...

same problem but somewhere it must be stated how many words must stay in the preview, right? Is not casual
