[CMS] Youtube videos not resizing in CMS

When I ad a video using the new video code, it displays the large version of the youtube clip on the cms instead of the thumbnail version. It did on my developement site.

    Using [video=youtube;ONkh786EbSg]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONkh786EbSg[/video]

I have this same issue. It makes me crazy! I end up having to go and get the embedded code and change the size settings prior to copying it into the article. Doing just the URL always screws things up.

I've logged a ticket. If I get it fixed I will post.

This is controlled via CSS. I think its the vbcms_article_preview_object_size setting. Have you customised your css, style or have you installed a mod (like AME3)?

AME3 works just fine on my CMS, but it completely throws off the alignment/etc.

Basically a huge mess, unless you embed the code and resize them by hand.

Huh? AME3 throws off your alignment? All AME3 does is put video tags around the link for you. You should have the same effect using vB4's media popup.

                      No, no..lol.

AME3 works great, it's just when you post video's on the CMS, they are shown full size, and it completely jacks the front page.

Such a pain, I don't even post video's on the front page.

I have the same issue as the above with AME and the normal usage of VB4 video input. If you all go here

You will see even the VB site shows the screw up for youtube video that happens. Using AME makes it worse.
I love that dang thing too so it sucks for me not to have any of my videos work properly.

Each time one is put up you have to get the emedded code and change the sizing. Lots of extra work!

AME CAN'T make it worse. All AME does is see that you have a video in a url tag instead of a video tag. It swaps them round for you and leaves the rest to vB.

The real problem is that the size for media is hard coded in the bbcode_video template and CSS is used to override in certain areas. Comments aren't one of them it looks like.

That was probably mis-worded about AME. I just put up a video using the link from youtube only. The video shows up in the main article but it does not show as a thumbnail version at the section or home page if added to the main content.

when you go to the article page it is aligned badly as with all other ways of inputting a youtube video. The right side is cut off.
