Some attachments are showing inline and some are showing as links you have to click. I can not figure this one out, is there a way to rebuild attachments? I am not using thumbnails.

Its weird, a lot of the attachments are showing inline without an issue. Others are showing at a links with the link being "ATTACH 2025" or similar.
Also in the albums the images are showing as their descriptions instead of images. Here are some examples and I appreciate your help!
Album not showing correctly:
Attachment not showing inline in a post:
Attachment showing inline as it should:

So this is why I find it weird, some are showing as they should and some are not.Comment

I have this problem also. If I upload a photo to an album it appears as a link not a thumbnail. If I insert a photo already uploaded such as one from the CMS documentation, the thumbnail appears as normal. If I upload a photo and then use the Update Thumbnails option in the Maintenance section of the Control Panel the uploaded photo now appears as a thumbnail. Very strange!Comment

So I did not fix the issue at all. But if you run the rebuild thumbnails in the admincp it will fix all the OLD ones. Any new attachments that are posted will still have the problem. I am surprised we havent heard anyone from the VB team chime in yet. I run a photography community and this is really killing me.Comment

I have a similar problem: I have images set in AdminCP to show as inline, but they only appear as thumbnails. I've even changed the setting to "no" and then back to "yes", but still, nothing.
I think I'm going to send this to the bug tracker...nobody likes the thumbnail views within posts. We just want inline images back like we had them in 3.x.Comment

Trevor, thank you sir, I did check it as reproducible. Is there anything else I can do to help?Comment
