    which stylevar? i want to change the color of those links

        When I use firebug, it tells me the color is from ".forumhead". So, Search in Templates for that and you'll see what stylevar is used.

          the var is set to be BLACK, but for some reason its white....

            Then something else is setting it and I can't tell from the image what that is. firebug should tell you if you Inspect Element on each of those.
