    [CMS] Allow html in articles?

    How?
I'm pasting code and the code is displayed when the article is published.

    What's the fix?

Do you have the html permissions set properly?

Nope go into your admin CP - VBCMS - permissions - each page or section has its own

And the permissions are inherited, so just edit the top level.

            Looks like crap.

            What a mess..... http://shottalk.com/forum/content.php?r=130

Is it the code or the CMS?

****Very disappointed in the CMS. It should not be this hard to create static html pages.

I have a lot of content in HTML, and if you copy and paste, it looks very very bad.

For example, try to paste an HTML table, it adds a lot of blank space above the table, the taller the table is, the longer space it adds.

It's impossible for me now to add all the content i have in HTML.

I can paste my code in a widget and it works fine but.....once I create a new page I have no way to access it because I don't know how to either preview it or find the correct url.

Did you click on the source button in the editor?
The editor is not the best they could have gone with.

i think the editor is not good at all, there are few editors far better as commented in other posts, but at least we will be able to paste html code ( from Dreamweaver for example ), and it must work.

Slingblade61, your problem is the same that mine, the tables goes simply distorted if you paste the code, and with the tiny table editor that comes with vb4, you can't do a lot of things.

Static HTML pages must be pretty much simpler to create than now.
