    Function Problem after upgrade

    I have tried to upgrade my forum but I am getting the following error, is anyone able to help?

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /var/www/vhosts/crafttelly.com/httpdocs/forum/includes/functions.php on line 5313

    Your php version is too old for the vbulletin version you are upgrading too.

      I have installed the version for my php but now getting a database error:

        Need to double check the details in your includes/config.php file are correct that that the database user still has full permissions to the database at your hosting.
