[Suite] Upgrade stuck at Processing Blog

I know it says be patient but the amount of time is getting long. Over 30 minutes now. I deleted install.php out of the install folder and after over writing the files with the new ones and uploading the install folder, I started the process.
It asked for my numbers then showed me some files it was expecting 4.2.2 in but found 4.2.3. I clicked continue. It ran through the beta versions and the RC ones on to the current version.

Now it's sitting on Processing Blog and keeps making entries in the progress about once a second. Did I screw up or is it supposed to be doing that?

An upgrade of a large site can take many hours. As long as it is still moving then let it carry on.

I have upgraded sites where steps like that can take most of the day.

OK then let me get this straight. I open the UPLOAD folder and upload the contents to the Public_HTML folder. That wants to over write the contents already there.
The upgrader program squawks about it was expecting to see 4.2.2 and found 4.2.3. Do I just click continue and let it do it's thing or is there something I'm missing?

I tried the upgrade again tonight and it worked flawlessly. Took about 20 minutes start to finish. I have no idea what I did differently tonight that I didn't do last night.
        Any roo, it works great.
