Prior to Upgrading: htaccess, renamed admincp

    Hi,

I'd like to update from 4.2.1 to 4.2.3, however, I have my AdminCP protected via htaccess and have also renamed my AdminCP and ModCP directories. Do I need to make any changes to these security measures prior to performing the upgrade?

    Thank you!

You would need to upload the new files to the renamed directories or they would stay on the old version which can cause problems. Best way to do this is just rename the AdminCP and ModCP before you upload. The .htaccess file in the AdminCP shouldn't be touched or need changes.
