Php would be upgraded by your host. It may, or may not, fix your issue, but you are currently running an old version of php which we don't support.

If you're not receiving subscription emails then they are being treated as spam by your email provider, you'll need to see if they will whitelist the domain vbulletin.com

Thanks for the quick reply! Is this correct, first get the host to upgrade the php. Then upgrade to 4.2.3? If I don't upgrade, will 4.2.2.work with the new php?

I read some of the other threads and I got scared about upgrading.
