[Forum] Upgrading from 3.8 to 4.2 config file

I've just upgraded from 3.8 to the latest 4.2.0 patch level 3 version, everything is working fine.

In the 'read me' help file it did not say what to do with the config file during an upgrade so I left it as it was, however my config is still showing as 3.8 version so I'm wondering if I should have edited the 'config.new' so that it became my current config file?

Or is it ok to leave it as it is?

Although out of habit I always use the latest config file.
Never know when something has been changed in the latest config file even though it might be stated in the instructions.

I am running 4.2 and still use a config file from 3.6.

This will change for 5.0 but for 4.2 it's fine.
