Hi, I am new with vBullentin. After installing the software and logging in on the admin panel I got the information of the "yahoo patch":
vB 4.1.12 PL3 and 4.2 PL3 Released for Potential Yahoo! User Interface Library Exploit
I got the patch PL3 files from the members area and got them uploaded on the server via FTB (as described on the here).
Now to my question, on my admin control panel there is also a security note of a patch from 7th june:
"Security Patches for vBulletin 3.8.7 & 4.0 - 4.2 (Suite & Forum) Now Available."
Is this something I need to take action on or did I get this fix when uploading patch PL3? ("yahoo patch") ???
In general I ask, if upload the latest patch from my version (4.2), do I always get the lastest fixes that covers "everything" or do I need to check through all patches for 4.2?
I just installed the 4.2 suite yesteday, so one would think I got the latest version with all fixes?
