[Suite] Fatal error after 4.2 upgrade

    Hi,
Yesterday I did the upgrade from 4.1.12 to 4.2 but now only the admin page work correctly. In the homepage appears:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function print_stop_message() in /... /cmsforum/includes/functions.php on line 8670

What can I do? I tried to disable product and reinstall but the result is the same

Can you try re-downloading the ZIP file from the Members Area and re-upload all files (except install/install.php and includes/config.php.new) making sure you overwrite all files currently on your server.

    Does this resolve the problem?

      Hi Trevor,
No, unfortunately the problem remains the same.

Although this seems to be an issue with the cms can you try to disable the plugins via the config.php file and see if it would fix the issue? I remember distinctly a case some months ago when upgrading the forum of a client it threw this error and it turned out the culprit was a mod.

I seem to remember that one coming from vBACMPS but no idea even if this is suite or forum.

The navtab functions seem to be erroneously using print_stop_message, an admin function. Here's the error it's trying to print:
            Code:
Error: Navigation element <b>{1}</b> has no valid data.
Not sure what exactly would be the cause of this, but there it is.

open it in a text editor and type under <?php

                define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

                Save it and upload it.

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

Nothing has changed, same error! (all products are disabled via admincp too)

I suggest starting a support ticket with Admin CP/FTP login so it can be looked into further.

I have submitted a bug report regarding this issue here - If you are running PHP 5.2.0 or 5.2.1, an error in the Navigation Manager kills the site

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If your webhost has you on php 5.2.0 or 5.2.1 we would at the very least recommend you encourage them to upgrade the php on your server or move you to another server that has php 5.3.x.
