[Suite] Urgent!! vBulletin 4.1.11 upgrade to 4.1.12 Problem!!

Hi, for my website Webs Guides I'm updating my vB version to 4.1.12 but my update process halt at 92%. What should I do? I've sent support ticket but haven't received any replies so I was hoping to get faster response from forum as it's urgent.

    Should I re-run the updates?

Hi, I've downloaded the latest 4.1.12 version of vbulletin. After I've downloaded and unzipped, I deleted the install.php file and upload the whole folder to my server.

When I run the update file path, the updates goes and stopped at 92% for 10 minutes now and doesn't goes on anymore. What should I do?

Don't know if it is related, but I think the the install.php file is to be deleted after the installation/upgrade and not before...

It has stopped for almost half to one hour now. I've deleted the install.php file as instructed in the manual here - https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/upgrade

          "Note:
As you already have a vBulletin installation running on your web server, you should delete the install.php file in the install directory before you proceed to upload the files."

I run the updates file not the installation file using - /install/upgrade.php

Yes, refreshing or going back and trying again does the trick in most cases.

Yay, I've completed the installation!! (almost 2 hours still haven't received any response from support ticket, vb should have a special ticket or phone number for urgent support)

                  Congrats mate.
I assume they are not replying because there are so many tickets.
I cant say i dont know but if everyone is having even half the problems i am with the latest upgrade then i assume they are flooded with tickets.

Did you disable all plugins during installation? I am going to hang on to it before upgrading as it seems like quite a few people are having problems.

Nope, I din disable any plugins (I've only 2 plugins btw). The manual didn't say anything about plugins, and I'm curious if I should turn off or not for future upgrade to get safer upgrade. Luckily din encounter any problem on that

Turn them off: nothing to lose with that option.

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

I would suggest running the update via CMD if it's hanging up.
I've updated many multimillion post forums with no issues at all and relatively quick upgrades.

1 hour 21 minutes is well within normal response times...

OK, we know you've got your own issues with support or the fact that you don't get ticket support but please stop spamming threads to that effect...

                              I was not spamming actually.
I posted once in another thread after this one, more specifically about my support issues and some other issues.
But i actually figured that vb support may be backlogged in this instance. As soon as i upgraded i encountered many problems and expected others must have so to assume a heavy load on the support would be expected yes?
I also stipulated that "i dont know" rather just giving my opinion which i thought was ok to do here?
My primary reason for the reply was to say congrats to the OP for fixing the problem he had. The rest was sort of fill yea but again is that wrong?
I have several issues and am searching for support in any fashion i can sure. But i am not a spammer. Never have been.
I cant offer the support to others i would like to unfortunately or i would actively.
However i am glad to see you have noticed that i have issues and hope that perhaps you can take a look into my threads one day soon.
