[Forum] Question about upgrading vBulletin 4.0.3 Patch Level 1 to 4.1.11

    Hey,

Okay so I've been an idiot and not bothered to upgrade my forum whenever a new upgrade was available from vBulletin, because I just thought I wouldn't need to. Well I was wrong I recently found out someone had tried to hack my forum: http://www.crackhackforum.com/thread...st-374271.html , so it has made me realize that yes I do need to upgrade my forum! So I admit, I have been a stupid idiot but now I have learned my lesson.

Anyways, what my question is: Can I just download the latest version of vBulletin (4.1.11) and upload it over my current files and then run the new installation? I am currently using vBulletin 4.0.3 Patch Level 1.

I would of course back up my files and disable my plugins before I ran the upgrade, but would I also need to do anything to my current custom theme?

    My forum is: http://www.lilwaynehq.com/forums/

    Thanks
