Is it possible to downgrade from 4.2.2 to 4.2.1? VBSEO doesn't work in the new version and I'd like to downgrade. I didn't take a backup of the database before upgrading (as I should have) though.
How to downgrade from 4.2.2 to 4.2.1?

I am on 4.2.2 and vbseo is working fine for me, what error you get? -
This is the error I'm getting (on Admin page)
Code:Warning: Non-static method vBSEO_Storage::path() should not be called statically in ..../vbseo/includes/functions_vbseo.php on line 21

Replace your 4.2.2 files with 4.2.1 files. Make sure you're not runing PHP 5.4.0.
For the error above, redownload the files and then set the config.php to ignore warnings as specified in the fourth post of the Release Announcement.Translations provided by Google.

Is it also possible to downgrade from 5.0.5 to 4.2.2 ?
5.0.5 is BUG ridden, I don't see how this was released being so unstable/unreliable/broken.Comment

The above fix is not a downgrade but rather just using 4.2.1 files on a 4.2.2 database to get round a paticular problem.Comment

I'm on php 5.3.3. It's a bit of a mess, but after patching from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 yesterday, my site just hangs if try to edit a post, add a video to a post, or add an image to a post. I believe these are all AJAX, but I'm not sure. Disabling vbSEO solves the problem, but it also trashes all of my URLs (which CAN NOT happen).
I'm not seeing any of the site errors from above and everything else appears to be fully functional (for now).
I'm going to try uploading the 4.2.1 patch files and hope for the best.
Update: Reverting back to 4.2.1 doesn't seem to have done anything. Bla!

You should ditch vBSEO and get rid of those sorts of addons completely, or switch to a supported seo mod like DBSEO.Comment
