prefix_vb4_foruminstallanswered_title_rich Update to 4.2.1 Cannot use Edit Post, Reply, Reply With Quote, or Multi-Reply

I have disabled hooks and plug-ins and it works. When I enable plug-ins and hooks, it quits. I have all add-ons disabled too.

    Edit:

I got everything to work except Reply With Quote. If you double-click it, it will come up. If you click it once, it will show a spinning wheel and never continue.
    Any ideas?

If disabling hooks lets it work, but disabling every product does not, it means you probably have one or more "stray" plugins- these are plugins not assigned to a specific product.

Go to Plugin Manager in Admin CP (Not Product Manager) and see if you have any plugins at the very top listed under the "vBulletin" product- if so, disable these using the check boxes. These plugins cannot be disabled any other way except by disabling hooks or doing them 1 by 1 here.

That did it. This is what I had listed there:
      vBulletin init_startup [Edit] [Delete]
      web ajax_start

      Thank you kindly.

Check what those plugins are. Did you put them there?

Those hooks are often used by hackers.

        Check your admin usergroup:
AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Administrators > Show All primary Users (from dropdown)
Are there any admins you do not recognise?
