    [Suite] Really need install help

    Long story short, I needed to re install VBulletin. I uploaded everything to FTP, but when I point my browser at the install, I get this:

    Not Found

    The requested URL /forums/install/install.php was not found on this server.
    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Apache/2.2.21 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.21 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.droid-tech.net Port 80

    I am not sure what I did wrong. I have tried numerous times and get it to work.

    And if you go to your site directory, and then the forums directory, then the install directory, do you see the install.php file?

    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

        You don't have your site installed on a "forum" directory. It's currently in the root. So you should be going to yoursite.com/install/install.php

            Oh, I didn't even notice what you did in the first picture. Make sure you have your files folders inside the public_html/ directory

            Should look like the 2nd pic. e.g:

            public_html/
            => admincp/
            => archive
            => etc

            then go to yoursite.com/install/install.php. do you get the same error?

                I tried getting you on AIM. Could you maybe tell me how the folders should (name wise and location) look as if I was starting from scratch?

                  Same as I said above, you should have uploaded everything from the "upload" folder, so that they are inside the /public_html/ directory

                    Point your browser to /install/install.php

                    NOT

                    /forums/install/install.php

                      I am guessing this is resolved. When I go to the site in your Customer Account, I see that vBulletin is installed, customized and up and running.

                        Was going to answer the same, but saw that it was resolved. Please ignore!
