[Forum] Mark Forums Read Security Token error after Upgrade

Just upgraded from 4.2.1 from 4.2PL3

When you click "mark forums read" it gives you this:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.
    This is my target URL for the mark forums read link: forumdisplay.php?{session.sessionurl}do=markread&markreadhash={userinfo.securitytoken}

    Any ideas?

You will need to also upgrade your style to be compatible with 4.2.1

It's not the style I don't think; it's the navbar manager.

Please send a support ticket in for my attention, I will fix it.

Is the fix something you could post here or would you need to get in there to figure it out?

It would depend. I need to login as an admin to establish the cause as there's a couple of different reasons.

Just raise a support ticket and include site URL and admin cp login, and put FAO Mark.B in the title. It's easy.

              Thanks

              Fixed for you.

In the navigation manager, {userinfo.securitytoken} needed changing to {bbuserinfo.securitytoken}.

^ I have this problem as well - will this update work for me as well? Can you tell me where to find the "Navigation Manager" so I can update this?

EDIT search of my entire site (of: {userinfo.securitytoken} ) returned nothing, so I don't have this line. Ugh I think this all has to do with my failed upgrade to 4.2.2 - I posted here, could you point me in the right direction on how to fix this?: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum...ld_builder-php

Login to your ACP, open the setting menu on the left, click on Navigation Manager, click on Forum, then edit the "Mark Forums Read" link, the bit to fix is in the URL for that item.

Thanks for the response, though please do be aware the thread is over a year old.

I noticed that after I pressed Post Reply, I'd misread the date, which I blame to posting before having my morning coffee!
