    [Suite] CMS as homepage

    I have looked for solutions here but I am still lost.
    I need to show my CMS page to show when users put in my domain name. From there they can go to the forums if they want.

    Running 4.2.0
    My domain points to the root folder on the server
    The suite is located in /v8/forums folder

    I have in my index.php in the root folder (just showing here the lines I modified)

    PHP Code:
    define('VB_RELATIVE_PATH''v8/forums');
    require(
    'forum.php');
    In the Navigation manager I have set the CMS as "default"

    It seems I am going to the right page (CMS) but I am required to login before I can see the page.

    What I need:
    NO login for the CMS page as it should be visible to any visitor. Only my forum should require a login.
    I have set my "Home" in the cms section to everybody can read

    Hope somebody can help me
    Thanks

    If users are gettinga no permission message when accessing the CMS, you need to ensure that the Unregisetred/Not Logged In usergroup has permissions to see you home section here:

    AdminCP > vBulletin CMS > Permissions

    ...and make sure that the home section is published.

      Thank you Trevor
      Well that was weird.
      Permissions were set correct and everything was published.

      But your reply made me think and I found the issue.
      I had imported the cms part with an xml file I had exported from a test server
      Now just by going into each section and article as Admin and doing an "edit" (without actually editing something) and then saved it now suddenly all the unregistered users have access.

        Hi,
        My forum location is domain.com/vb/ and I would like to hide the "vb" folder. In addition, I want to make the CMS as the default page instead of forum.
        What settings and files should I modify?
        Please help!

          Please see the guide here on how to change the default tab:

          To hide the /vb part of the URL, you will need to either use custom rewrite rules or move the software up a level on yur server. If you need assistance with this, please start your own thread with your own issues.
