First you have to upload your own logo via FTP. Upload it to the /images/misc folder in the forum folder, then log into your admin control panel and go to:
Styles & Templates > Style Manager > StyleVars (from the drop menu).
Next, scroll down a little and find the ImagePaths group. In the titleimage setting, replace vbulletin4_logo.gif with the name of your logo image.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

The VB5 header assumes that you want to place adverts on/in your header, I would prefer to have a larger logo area, how do increase the size of the logo area ?
I know it must be in the CSS somewhere...
