    [Forum] Session timeout when installing

I am running the upgrade script but I get this message during the install and then it quits: "The server returned no response. This is probably due to a timeout setting. Please contact vBulletin support for assistance".

How do I change the timeout settings so that this runs?

Might try upgrading via the command line

Do you have access to edit the php settings on your server?

I'm not sure. Is there a setting that I should change? Or at least have my host change?

I checked and I can view my php settings but cannot change them myself. I will need my host to do that.
