[Suite] "Could not start transfer" - what now?

    Hi folks,
I'm just upgrading from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2 using filezilla
When copying the "forums" folder over to "public html" there are a handful of files which do not copy succesfully. I've tried this 3 times now and the same files are failing for the reason "could not start transfer".
    What do I do now?

First:check the file "permissions"of those files on the server.

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

The files that aren't transferring are..
      vbulletin-language.xml
      vbulletin-adminhelp.xml
      vbulletin-style.xml
      spritegradients.png
      sprites01-left.png
      sprites02-left.png
      paymentapi/ca-bundle.crt
      product-vbmcs.xml
      product-vbblog.xml
      assetmanage.js
Same problem each time I try.
The other 1900 odd files transfer fine.

At owner permissions - read and write are checked, execute is not. Is this the problem?

Who is the owner of the files, does it show?

            It doesn't say

            ETA...
I tried to view one of the files and it tells me
XML document must have a top level element. Error processing resource

            Sounds like permissions problem??

I have no idea who has some remote access to those files to restrict you.
                As Zachery is asking:

With that you should be able to upload your files.

They all say 644 on them.

I've given up and put 4.0.1 back up.
