      Meaning that in those(probably not so seldom cases (re test-forums?) setting cache-prefix = db-prefix would not solve the problem.

        I didnt say it would solve it in all cases. I cleary stated "unless overriden" - which you would have to do in such a case.

        It would however solve it in a lot more cases than at present.

            You mean table prefix not database prefix? Use of the same database prefix is not possible.

              Whom are you talking to? If it should be me: Of course, it is perfectly possible to use the same database prefixes if you have different databases.
