    [Suite] installation/upgrading

    is the process the same as vb 3.0?

      Not quite. There's a suite to install. But it's very similar.

          The installation and upgrade is 99% the same.

              The only thing I'd say is different (at least, on the Forums only product - I don't have Suite), is how the Style part of install is now processed in "chunks" (which I think is great, btw!)

                  The Suite and Forums 4.0 Gold release still have the 3.8vBulletin "how-to" upgrade instructions in the zip file. I have purchased the upgrades but will wait to see how many people have difficulties before I do a crash and burn test.

                      I upgraded about 15 minutes ago and did not have any issues at all.

                          Aside from some bugs, my upgrades through the betas have been flawless except for faults of my own.
