I have seen some forums vBulletin 3.8 with versions 3.8.7, 3.8.9, and 3.8.4, 3.8.2...
The forums are running and I asked me why not upgrade it?

I spain the most popular forum is forocoches and is running in 3.8.9

Your question isn't very clear but you should be running version 3.8.11.

Each site has to determine its own needs and whether to spend the money to justify those costs. We would prefer that everyone runs the latest version of the software but that just isn't possible in all real world scenarios.
