    This is showing syntax error. You have to check this with developer.

      Ah, hosting companies blaming the software. Software that's installed without issue on tens of thousands of sites....

      Which error are you now referring to? The time zone error is not a syntax error.

      Syntax errors usually result from old add ons that aren't compatible with later versions of php.

        Hey Mark,

        I still cant get this working.

        The error is:

        Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '' . $optionvalue . '' (T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING) in /home/northwes/public_html/site/daold/includes/functions.php(5346) : eval()'d code on line 3

        Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '' . $optionvalue . '' (T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING) in /home/northwes/public_html/site/daold/includes/functions.php(5429) : eval()'d code on line 3

        Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'submit' (T_STRING) in /home/northwes/public_html/site/daold/global.php(603) : eval()'d code on line 1

        Fatal error: Class 'vB_Template_Runtime' not found in /home/northwes/public_html/site/daold/global.php(604) : eval()'d code on line 6


        I have disabled hooks and errors in the config file

                Please download a fresh copy of the vBUlletin 3.8.11 files from the members area.
                Unzip these, and upload them to the server, making sure you overwrite what's already there.
                Then, run the upgrade script (install/upgrade.php).

                Make sure the upgrade runs fully and completely to the end.

                Then delete the /install folder.
